GOT QUESTIONS? WE HAVE ANSWERS!

[ FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS ]

  • Why Choose Active Reload Health and Performance?
At Active Reload Health and Performance, we are committed to delivering the highest level of personalized care. Unlike traditional chiropractic and physical therapy clinics, every session is a full one-on-one, 60-minute appointment with a highly trained doctor. Our individualized treatment plans are designed to support your unique goals, ensuring long-term success and injury prevention. As athletes ourselves, we understand the importance of staying active. Rather than telling you to stop training, we provide expert guidance on modifying workouts so you can continue progressing safely.
  • What Can I Expect During My First Visit?
Your first visit will be a comprehensive evaluation, lasting a full hour with your doctor—never shared with another patient. During this session, we will: ● Conduct a thorough movement assessment and examination to identify the root cause of your pain or injury. ● Provide a clear explanation of your condition and why it developed. ● Develop a customized care plan designed to help you achieve your goals efficiently and effectively. Please wear athletic clothing, as your session will involve movement and hands-on treatment.
  • Will I Be Told to Stop Working Out or Training?
In 99% of cases, absolutely not! Movement is a crucial part of the recovery process. Instead of restricting your activity, we focus on modifications and scaling options that allow you to continue training safely while addressing your injury.
  • Do You Accept Insurance?
Active Reload operates as an out-of-network provider, which means we are not restricted by insurance companies' definitions of "medically necessary" care. This allows us to provide uncompromised, patient-centered treatment focused on what is best for you—not what insurance dictates. With this model: ● You receive transparent pricing with no hidden fees or surprise bills. ● Payment is due at the time of service, and we accept cash, checks, HSA/FSA funds, and credit/debit cards. ● Many patients can submit claims for potential reimbursement through their insurance provider. This approach ensures better results, faster progress, and care tailored specifically to your goals.
  • What Is the Difference Between Seeing a Chiropractor or a Physical Therapist at Active Reload?
At Active Reload, we take a unified approach to care. While our team includes both chiropractors and physical therapists, we don’t separate ourselves into two different professions—instead, we operate as Performance Doctors. This means that no matter which provider you see, you’ll receive the same high-level treatment experience, focused on movement, strength, and long-term performance. Our team is extensively trained in rehabilitation, manual therapy, strength and conditioning, and injury prevention, ensuring that your care is seamless, consistent, and tailored to your goals. So whether you're working with a chiropractor or a physical therapist at Active Reload, you can expect a comprehensive, one-on-one approach designed to help you move better, recover faster, and perform at your best.
